Folk International Nepal is a proud member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), an international network of fair trade organizations dedicated to promoting and implementing fair trade practices around the world. Folk International Nepal joined the WFTO in 2003, and since then has been committed to upholding the WFTO’s 10 principles of fair trade, which include fair wages and safe working conditions for artisans, protection of the environment, and transparency and accountability in business practices.
